This neighborhood offers beautiful older and newly renovated condominiums along with many smaller brownstones. Here you will find quaint, narrow one-way streets, gas lanterns lighting on the streets,brick sidewalks, and row houses on both sides of the hill. There is much history here with many of our country’s famous figures having been a part of the neighborhood. Notables like Oliver Wendell Holmes, John Hancock and Daniel Webster have all called this part of Boston home. The area is not much more than a mile square, yet houses nearly 10,000 residents.
